The countries in northwestern Europe are called the nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. They share a common cultural heritage as far back as there are written records. In many parts the traditional music and dance forms have survived and are still strong. Today this music and dance is very much alive, both in traditional forms and forms with contemporary influences.

map This directory presents musicians, dancers, teachers, instrument makers, etc from four of the nordic countries.
